| Servo issue?
I got a futaba S3305 servo on my Deadbolt and I'm not super stoked about how it's performing. Seems a bit slow and makes it to where I gotta bump it forward to get it to turn sometimes? Any advice or is as simple as just getting a more high torque servo? Thanks |

thats a weak servo , only 124 oz of torque at 6v. you need something stronger and a BEC to go with it

The Futaba S3305 is a good servo, a have a couple in different vehicles. It's just not meant for the direct steering set-up in a crawler. The Tactic TSX55 is a decent servo with 200 oz-in torque and all metal gears for less than $25. I've got one on the rear axle of my Wraith no, but it was previously on the front before the rear-steer conversion. Not a powerhouse servo but should steer your Deadbolt without the need for an external BEC.
