Default Pro Boat ESC question

I bought a Pro Boat esc and hooked it up, well the steering works but no motor. It's a new Monster Horsepower 27turn and I tested it in another car and its fine. I followed the setup instruction and still nothing. Anyone else have this problem and if so did you have to replace it or what? Thanks Kendall

i havent used a proboat esc but did you check the lead from the reciever to the esc (that tells the esc to throttle?) maybe the pins fit loosely or popped off..

if i had one, i'd help you...
