Castle Mamba MicroX help

Esc intermittently shots down. Sometimes after 15 or 20 min, sometimes after just a couple minutes. When it shuts down it has a continuously blinking yellow light with a single red flash and beep every 3sec or so. What is happening here? The manual users dashes and dots to describe audible tones which is a method lost on me. Any help would be appreciated.

From Castle's FAQ:

If you are not calibrating and have no throttle input:
Flashing Red and Yellow = over temp
...
Flashing Yellow = possible problem with controller...
