| what do you guys think??
my thought is to mount the esc's about where they are. use a Y harness to conect them together and then to the battery and mount the receiver between them. this is my first build so i'm unsure about the wiring. i dont want the esc's on the axles as they may get damaged in a roll.what do you guys think, good, bad, suggestions?? Why didn't you just go with a trx evx? That seems good though. |

I would put the esc's on the axle braces, thats what i did w/ my stick crawler. Why would u want to use a y harness if your going to use dig? edit: u need a y for the batts Be prepared for carnage, those motors will strip the plastic gears like nothing, i had to switch to metal in mine. |

the Y harness would conect the 2 esc's together then to the battery,or are you saying run 2 packs? what if one pack is weak or do'es not have the run time the other pack has? where did you get your metal gears? if the plastic ones are a problem i'd rather change them now. can you post a pic of your set up? Watch your throttle finger and you wont have problems with the breakage ;) You have PM, we can talk on the phone about wiring it all up if you want. I would suggest one battery, Parallel Y harness powering both esc's. |
