Seeing as they have plugs and all prewired, my guess is they already have resistors. Their lights from a bumper I got back in the day were really dim compared to stock when I wired them into a cheap light controller with board mounted resistors to replace broken ones as well. They have resistors and servo-size adapters, so they should work on 6v. Very few kits are 12v or 3v (no resistor), unless specified.
