Default New and already need help. Transmitter question

I have an HSP 94880T2 with 4 wheel steering and I can't wrap my head around the transmitter functions. The trans lists a No1 normal mode and a No2 crawler mode. I can't figure out what the normal mode does or I may not be getting it into normal mode.
If I change the trans to No1 the rear won't steer, (makes sense) but the rear wheels will cut hard left and stay there. I can get the wheels to cut hard right by switching the CH 3 Switch but it stays locked right until I change the CH 3 Switch back.

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? The car runs as expected in crawler mode steering and all. I just don't like strange unknown things like this.

Anyone know what's up here? Thanks in advance.

This is the vehicle in question and you can see the transmitter face lower down the page....

Can't find any links for that RC other than E-bay, do you have a link to the manual?

It all depends on what they are calling "crawler mode", by what you described, it sounds more like dig function, rather than steering. But, need the manual to tell for sure.

The manual is a single sheet of paper that just covers binding, how to go from mode to mode, and the buttons on the trans. The controller is a t-3920c and the flow is shown as...
Press Sel to enter setup menus and it shows No1 and 12v on screen
Steering Nor/rev Exchange, shows Ch1 nor/rev on screen
Throttle Nor/Rev Exchange, shows Ch2 nor/rev on screen
Steering D/R, shows Ch1 D/R and 100% on screen
Throttle D/R, shows Ch2 D/R and 100% on screen
Steering EPR (L/R) shows CH1 EPA L.F.U/R.B.O. And 120% on screen
Throttle EPA (forward/back) shows CH2 EPA L.F.U./R.B.O. And 120% on screen
Mode Exchange shows NO2 and 12v on screen
And that's all it has on it.
I don't know what LFU or RBO are either.

The web page for the car...

This page lists it too...

Have you tried adjusting the trim when you switch into the crawler mode? Sounds like the trim is maxed. When it switches from right to left max, that's just you reversing the directions. Find the trim function and adjust it to center.

I tried the adjustments and no dice. The servo still locks.
With the trans set on number one the trans doesn't allow the steering options like front, rear, crab, etc to be changed. This makes me think the "Normal" mode may just be to run it like a normal car with 2ws. I'm going to try disconnecting the rear servo and see what it does in "normal"mode that it won't do otherwise.
