Default flysky hack 2 position winch controller

Guys, I have searched with out any success. I recently had my 3b hacked. I am trying to figure out how to program the 3rd channel for a 2 position winch control. Any help would be great.

thanks

Use this video. The first thing he programs is the winch channel.

Problem is that is a 3 position winch channel he programs in that video set up for -100/0/+100. The OP has a 2 position controller, IE, click cable out click cable in. Now that said, it might be possible to program that channel to send +100/0/+100 each direction of the switch throw. The problem with that is that the winch will change direction each time the switch is thrown in any direction which could get very confusing. Or maybe program the channel to 0/0/+100 that way the switch would only activate the 2 position controller in one direction of the switch throw. I'm just speculating here, I haven't tried anything like that with my GT3C because I have a 3 position winch controller.

Scroll to REV, press and hold enter
Scroll to C, press enter
Scroll to CH3, press enter
Scroll to MO1, press and hold enter
Press back/end afew times

That will assign your channel 3 button (on the handle) to control channel 3 in a momentary 2 postion manner

So it will always be at -100. when you press and hold it will be at +100. when you let off it goes back to -100

Assuming your winch controller uses the position upon power up for "off", then this should work.

If it works another way, you may need to choose MO0 (instead of MO1) for non-momentary control. But then you need to remember to press the button to deactivate the winch.

I tried the program in MO1 & MOO still did not work. The two position switch is a hey ok winch controller if that help solves the issue.

thanks

It's hard to know if the controller is faulty or the transmitter is programmed to do what you want.
My suggestion is to connect a servo to your winch channel as it will help you visualize what is happening. Pushing the button on the handle should make the servo move from one end to the other.
If the servo is doing what you expect, then maybe the winch controller has a problem.

I do not believe the controller is bad. It works fine on another remote, just not on the hacked remote. I believe its a programming in the controller.

A 2 position channel is simply +100 or -100. If you have a 3 position switch/channel you simply have to deal with an extra click in the middle [that does nothing]. A 2-pos channel simply waits for a 200% change (a 1000us change to be precise). If you switch it to the receiver's CH1 you can test it with the steering wheel, assuming it's set to 100% endpoints & no dual rates. Full lock one way then full lock the other should activate it. Likewise you can plug a servo into the receiver's CH3 and test your 3B's programming.

One last thing, I thought the 3B would be like my 3C in which CH3 was a 2-pos by default. My 3C sets CH3 to zero (1500us) when turned on, the each press moves it alternating full lock (2000us or 1000us).

As previously mentioned

Plug a servo into the ch3 rx slot to see what is happening. The template I gave you should work.
