Default ? about receiver packs

Has anyone ever taken a cell out of a 7.2 volt stick pack and made a receiver pack out of it? The voltage would be 6.0 volts so I think this would work. I know it will be heavy but i dont care about weight.

Total carnage guys run them on their Emaxx's...

works alright...just a lot of weight for a Rx pack, especially if you are running another 6 cell main...
