Hello guys. Did you find some good lipo battery for the FS GT5? I found only noname china batteries with cap of 1500 mAh or branded batteries with only 800 mAh. I´m looking for branded battery with cap. min 1500 mAh, better more. Thanks

ok thanks. I have many rechargeable AA Panasonic Evolta (2200-2550 mAh) but I don´t want to use them because of lower voltage. Rechargeable AA have only 1,2 V, real around 1,33 V I think, so for me they don´t last too long and they are heavy.. Standard AA have 1,5 V real around 1,45 I think, not sure. Low voltage alarm in GT5 is set to 4,4 V I think, so I´m afraid to use AA rech for longer expedition. But maybe my rech AA are older so They don´t last enought. In Xbox controller They last almost 2 weeks but in GT5 maybe 2 hours?

I've got one of these radios and have tried 2 receivers. Plug my gt3c in and no problem. Curious can the receiver not handle 3s. only thing I can think of. It was the reciever that came with radio.

Has anyone had any luck with any other recievers yet?

Even though I just bought like five BS6 receivers, I'd still like to know if anything else works. So far, I haven't found any indication that other receivers have been proven successful.

I’ve been using these, as well as the usual flysky bs6

I believe that just a re-branded BS6, right? Do you know of any three-channel receivers that work? I've been looking for something smaller than the BS6 to fit some micro crawlers.

You’ll want the FS-A3.

Compatible receivers below, from the manual.

Haven't heard of anyone actually having success with these other ones (going off this thread and FB). A3 is only $10 cheaper than the BS6 where I live but really, I just want something smaller in size

Not sure in anyone is looking for the bs6 receivers, but I needed a few and the only options I could find were either direct from China or way over priced. But I did find a seller on Walmart.com that had them $18. I bought 2, no tax, free shipping, and it says I will have them in 5 days.

Hi all new to the forum, I joined because of this thread. I ordered a GT5 a week or so ago and was trying to find out whether FS-IA6B receiver would work with it. I ended up even more confused as there seems to be mixed opinions with very little evidence backing it up, so I decided to just bite the bullet and give it a try. I can confirm it DOES work with both the FS-IA6B and the TGY-IA6B, at least it did for me. Here's a video showing the bind procedure, and a follow up video showing the receiver in action.

I can confirm, the gt5 does work with the ia6b. I run them in all my trucks. Theyre a lil big for a rx box, but theyre cheaper than the bs6 that comes with the radio

I've had the FS-A3 sitting around for awhile now. I know I tried it before on the gr5 but I figured I'd give it another shot. What I found is when binding the remote doesn't confirm it's bound, but when you switch the remote off and pull the bind plug everything seems to work....just saved me $25 as I was about to buy another receiver.
