Default Proline 4in LED not bright

Good evening,
I just installed a Proline 4in LED bar on my bomber and it is not bright at all. When I built my kit I wired a castle 10a BEC in-line from the battery connector to the receiver and ensured the red wire from the ESC is folded back. I am using a brand new Spektrum 4 channel SR410 receiver with a DX4C radio. I have the LEDS in Aux 2 on switch A.

The bomber works flawlessly otherwise, the LEDs are just not bright.

Any help would be awesome.

What voltage is your Castle set to? My Proline bar is much brighter at 6-12v vs 5v.

That would be the problem. It is set at the default setting which is 5.1v. Time to pick up the castle link to adjust the voltage.
Thanks for the help

Wire the leds into the bec, as you want 5 v in the receiver, higher to lights. You can use a rx bypass to solve that, substitute servo for leds.

You can change the plug on the light bar to a female balance plug (not sure of the proper name of those connectors) and draw power straight from the balance plug on your battery. The Proline bars are happy running direct from 2s-3s, just pick up power from the 2 outermost wires of the balance plug to get full battery voltage. My son has been running his 6" Proline bar direct from 2s for over a year, on 3s it's brighter than the headlights of the old motorcycles I grew up riding!
