ok, i am gonna start ordering the stuff to build my crawler soon! here is what i have on my list for electronics:

-Novak Super Rooster reversible ESC
-Integy 55t Lathe motors
-the complete 3 channel radio from www.thecrawlerstore.com
-Hobbico cs80 servos (2)
-HPI 5 cell 6 volt 1200 mAh hump reciever packs (2) (do i even need two of these? i dont even know.......)


what else do i need? i know i need a main battery, but what size and/or kind? anything else? any substitutions you would make? let me know. thanks in advance!

What about these Batterys for the main battery?

would one of thsoe be enough since it is 3000 mAh? seems like thats about what everyone is using from what i can gather......but then again, some people are running two packs that r that size (but lower mAh), so could i run two of those with the Super Rooster and have 6000 mAh and thus have longer run times?

another thing.......i am not THAT concerned about weight (the two batterys).....i dont think there are many (if ANY) comps around here, so this will just be for playing around by myself and with friends if i can get any interested in this (most of my friends are only concerned with speed and these things aren't fast, so i dunno if i can get them into it )
