Default Batteries and charger brands?

Im looking to pick up a few more lipos and a better charger for my Element and was wondering what the general consensus was on brands that are good and what to steer clear of? I currently have a single Gens Ace in 2s and plan on going to all 3s if that matters. I read that Venom chargers are pretty nice for the price.Thanks.

I use venom hardcases and zippy compact softcase
Never had any issues with both brands.

Charger is easy : SkyRC D100v2.

I buy whatever cheapest lipo pack I find in the size I want. Some have thinner wrapping so they can be punctured easier such as zep power. For actual crawling you can ignore the C-rating as we dont have power hungry rigs. For bashing you might want something nicer for the C-rating or a hard pack. I love skyrc chargers, they have a lot of features. But as long as the charger can balance and storage charge, your probably fine. If the charger can check internal battery resistance, you have some idea on the condition of your batteries.

I buy cheap Nano Tech batteries and use a $30 IMAX B6 charger from Hobbyking.

I've used more expensive batteries and chargers in the past, zero difference in what matters to me, how my truck runs.

Thanks for all the input guys, some of these brands I havent heard of before. I was mainly looking at Venom and Turnigy produts just because I knew the brands from back when I played airsoft. This opens the door for more brands and products to research as well as setting myself a solid budget to go off of before buying.

I haven't had any issues with my GoldBat batteries, about the least expensive and on Amazon Prime. I never read where anyone else ever had any issues with them either.

I also use a SkyRC charger, but I just have the IMAX B6 (only charges 1 battery at a time). It's been an awesome charger.
