Trail KIng or SCX10 ii Powertrain?

I am looking to build one of these. Likely the TK. I have experience with 2 built Bronco wraiths with Mambas and Rock 412s and all steel gears, etc.
I want to go waterproof . I think I am going with the Mamba X or Mamba Micro X? Will either ESC be great paired with a HH PP BP 540 2700kV and reefs T5? Will this be crawler smooth and moderately fast if needed?
Will this be a smooth operator?

I'd choose the TK over the SCX10 II. I say that because the TK is basically an SCX10 II made from upgraded parts.

I can't help you with the motor as I haven't run mine yet and I'm using brushed.

As far as the servo goes, I think you can get a better servo for similar money. If you're spending $120 on a Reefs 555 just get a Savox 2290 for $20 more.

Trail King over the SCX10 II all day every day.

For the full size Puller Pro, you'd want the Mamba X over the Micro. That will also keep you from having to run a BEC. 2700 is the ideal speed IMO. As for servos, Savox 2290 like Jato mentioned is a much better choice than Reefs and Dlux sometimes has them for $120.

Sweet! So I will go Mamba X and the HH 2700. I was pretty sure I was going with the TK. It looks BA. Just hope that a 351 motor from MrcommaD will be made for it. Says he is doing one!

I do want a waterproof servo though. The 2290 doesn't say that it is?
