Default How to make low profile servo mounts

I need too make a set of low profile servo mounts for my SRB Chassis / Sand Scorcher restoration project, going to use a 6/32 bolt too make my linkage between the servo and steering saver, I looked online and found some low pro mounts but they will not work with the servo standing up like in the pic cause the wires come out the side, so maybe just too corners opposite of each other

Can you give a side shot? Will the servo be mounted upright with backside of servo "wires" touching the chassis?

#6 machine screw, like you have shown, is about 1/64" bigger diameter than the regular 3mm screws normally used for mounting a servo so should fit thru the holes on the servo mounting ears. Would long #6 screws thru a tube spacer cut to length (brake line tubing?) work? Either threaded in to the chassis plate or drilled thru with a nut on the underside of the chassis plate. You could do 2 or 4, whichever works.

I went thru my RC stash and found 4 plastic tubes that need to be shorten cause, they are to tall and I filed a flat spot of the flanged end too sit up close to the servo, and I bought some 4/40 hardware cause 20mm is the longest 3mm screws I can find locally, now I need to figure the servo's location and make my linkage
