Isdt esc70 video

I just found on my YouTube feed that ISDT posted a video walkthrough of programming their esc70 about 2 weeks ago. I’m really leaning toward this for my Gatekeeper crawler/bashed build. As someone who owns one, and has devoted an absurd amount of time (including two overly long YouTube videos) to messing with it, I still STRONGLY recommend against the ISDT ESC70. It's not ready. Out of the package, it was unusable. It still acts weird, even after numerous firmware updates. Sometimes it has to be power-cycled several times just to get it to work. The internal BEC is sketchy. The app has improved, but the ESC is still:

1. not reliable
2. not waterproof
3. it's primary selling point (BT programming) is not intuitive, and often doesn't work
4. as of today, just $7 cheaper than a 1080
5. a gen 1 product that desperately needs improvement

If you're buying brushed on a budget, stick to the 1080.

I've got ISDT ESC videos in my algorithm and yeah the issues that it has would just make me stick to the solid 1080. I've still got hopes for it, that it will eventually develop into what it should be when it released. At this rate, maybe by the end of the year?
