Default hitech servo not working ?

i jsut got a new hitec high torque servo (hs-635hb)
and the dang thing dont work ?? my old servo works fine on the truck but this one doesnt do anything at all ?? is there anything i dont know orrr is it just a dud ?

Hitec has a universal connector that you can plug in backwards to Futaba/Traxxas and Hitec... check to make sure its plugged in the right way...

plugged it in both ways even cut the plug off and direct connected bare wire in where it pluggs in still nothing

Did you actually "cut" the wires? If you did, why? Just tweak the plastic tabs that retain the connectors in the plug, takes 2 seconds to remove.

you may have to rearrange the order of the wires... all the plugs that go into the Rx should be in the same color order...

I had the same issue with a new ESC and I had to change the order of the wires, after that it worked perfectly.

im gonna swtitch them now just waiting for my battery to charge.. (hapen to know the order lol ) ?

i thought all the servos were suppesed to be universal know just may hev to use the servo reverse switch

i just got it working.. i think they might jsut get the wire confiuration messed up when they put the end cazps on.. ?
