Default reciver pack

Is it safe to run a five cell reciver pack with no voltage regulator eventhough the pack peaks at a higher voltage than the 6 volt that my servos are rated for.I am using hitec 805 servos, and a 5 cell 3200MAH reciver pack.

Don't see why not... I use 5 cell 2/3A hump packs and 5th scales use the subC cells for RX packs...

With a pack that size tho', you might want to monitor the servo's and such... That's a lot of amperage going into some little wires... The only issue that MIGHT arise would be that... Too much amperage and the wires fry out...
