Default Interference with battery on servo?

Why can't I rest my std stick pack on my servo? I get tons of interference, things go nuts! Does it have anything to do with it being a digital servo Futaba 3305. This is a TLT build with the SW2. If I raise the battery up on top of the frame, it's fine.

Thanks

I always run my batts ontop of the servo in our SW2, never had a problem with any of the servos I've run, analog or digital.

Is it somehow the pressure on the servo? Pinched wire or other problem?

Maybe not the battery but anything that touches or applies pressure on the servo.

No, it's none of that, if I even get the battery close to the servo it goes nuts, but with the battery up high on the frame it's ok, weird. Thanks

Batteries dont really give off much EMF, but the wires do. Do the battery wires travel with the servo wires?

Could be a wiring problem, bad grounds can cause very strange things to happen.

I'm still trying to figure this out. The battery wires are running close to the servo wires but not with, could be a possibility! Thanks I actually installed a different ESC tonight Tamiya 302BK not trying to solve this problem (but hoping it had something to do with it, no luck) rested the battery on the servo worked fine for about 15 seconds then went crazy. I'm going to try with the wires farther apart.
