I have a evx, emaxx reciever, and a rx pack. i am going to plug the rxpack into the rx battery slot and unplug the red wire on the evx plug to the rx. has anyone done this and used it and what were the outcomes. i just dont want to fry anything.

You should be just fine. You unplug the red wire from the EVX b/c it is the BEC power supply of 5volts. The white is signal and black is ground, and those are the only two it needs to see.
ALtenatively you could leave the Red wire on the EVX connected to the Radio, and then remove the red wires from the servos and connect them to the RX Pack and connect the black RX pack wire to the radio.
Either way the power supplies for the Servis and the ESC are different. The latter jsut keep the radio powered by the ESC.
I am not aware of any problems with this? Anyone else?
