Default Programming a futaba 3PM

3PM-FM

I have this controller right here. The futaba 3PM. I have no problems with it the only thing I cannot figure out is how to set up the third channel for the selectable rear steer. The only thing I can figure out with the third channel is the steering trim. I would like to get the rear steer set up with switches DT3 and DT4 (the ones under the steering wheel). Does anyone know how to program this so they are 3 positions switches for the rear steer? i.e. push the switch one direction the tires turn left, push it the other they goe back to center, and then pushing it the same way you pushed it to go back to center would make them turn right

Sorry if it sounds like a bunch of jumble words, it's hard to explain

I have the same radio also. As far as I know you cant program the switches to operate like that. I set mine up so the third channel was mixed to the steering wheel. And then the switch on the pistol grip would switch between crap steer and normal 4 wheel steering. then the slider switch would select between front or rear steering. That was the best I could come up with...

Hope that made some sense..

yeah I posted this in chit chat and saw that it got moved here.
Then I couldn't find it and found the other thread with that one link.

I programmed it that way and with a Hi-Tec 645 MG ultra torque on each end it steers better than ever before The servo I had on the rear before could barely move maxx sized swamp dawgs
