Default Brushed or Brushless ?

What is a good fast brushed motor ??
I've got a 15 double and a 21 single
What is going to be better / faster than those ?
Also what is the best brushless motor combo ? very reasonably priced
I know there's loads on flebay from hongy kongy but which one ?
What does the 4300 kv or 7300 kv or 5500kv mean and how does it interpret into rpm's ?
Do i need an outrunner or inrunner or whatever they are called ?
This is for a speed demon project running on a 7.2v stick pack and i also have a 9.6v pack available .

Any help gratefully appreciated
