| Sitck + receiver pack problems, need a little help
hey guys, im building my scale truck and i have ran accross a short problem. i am running a Venom 3000 stick pack, mTroniks Viper Max ESC and a Orion 1200 receiver pack. when i unplug the power lead off the ESC and plug in the receiver pack i get no movement on the sevos, but the throtle works. the servos sounds like a ticking time bomb(i know, SCARY!!!) but the dont move. when i just use the stick pack WITHOUT the receiver pack the servos work fine(of coarse with the power wire on the ESC pluged in). so my question is why arnt the servos working? they work MINT without the receiver pack. is the mTroniks ESC not capable of a second pack? do i need to run another switch for the receiver pack? if so do i leave the ESC switch on at all times and just use the receiver pack switch as my main power shut off? the other option i have is a mamba max ESC. i didnt even think of running this ESC till i read about it in another thread and remembered i had it. will i have the same problem with the mamba? thanks in advance! |

Sounds like the RX pack needs a charge.. What RX are you running as well? That can help, too... Could be a bad RX pack or RX... But sounds most likely like a bad RX pack, beit discharged or bad cell... If ya try another RX pack and it does the same, it could well be there's something in the RX that's cooked off in the battery line/BEC on the RX itself... |

its a brand new one chare orion 1200 5 cell pack. when i get home im gunna try it with my mamba max and see if it does the same. the RX shows wear so its a posibility that its bad. the thing that i dont get is that its a 4 channel RX. on the fourth channel it says ch4/batt. i assume that were i plug the RX pack in.its a hitec feather RX if that makes a difference.
