Default battery size question

whats the smallest battery which has comparable run times and power to my 6 sub c 3000 mah nimh stick pack. space is at a minimum and i really dont want to rebuild my pack at an akward shape to fit. my setup is currently
AI runner reverse
35t integy
TP MG995
not sure on the reciever. 2ch airtronics.

im looking for something to power that and maybe a winch. id prefer nimh and about the size of four or five sub c cells. thanks alot for the help, as this is not my strong piont.

walmart has 2650 mah durracell nimh that work really well, you can make a really small pack out of those. Plus its only $16. Also there are some good lipo deals on cheaperbatterypacks.com to.

They are AA's and they are nimh and they are loose cells, so you would have to build the pack.

Edit: There are 8 cells to a pack.

The only way to get the runtime of those 3000's is to use 3000mah cells capable of handling your motors. The 2650 AA's wont give you 2650mah of runtime since they are designed for relatively low amp draw situations.

Your gonna need to go lipo for a smaller pack, or rebuild your current pack for equal performance.

Me and Badd run these cells, with 35 turn motors and we havent notices a differance in run time with them over sub-c's. The only differance I have noticed over my 3000 mah sub-c's is the initial punch, which of coarse is due to the amp draw. All in all for a single lathe motor they work great.

I love the 2650 mah for Wally World . I get about 55 min. run times. on 7 cells with a 35 turn hand wound hot motor with 13/87 gearing on a stealth trans. Also my 2.2 rig is almost 6lbs. I really had a tight place to put a battery pack as seen here in the green ring . I had to build my pack like this to clear the links and fit under the hood .

Damn... Them same cells up here in Canada are priced rather retardedly then I think... It'd cost me near $40 for 2 packs of 4.. The 8 packs are just over $40.. Like I said.. Retardedly priced... That's why I haven't gotten any yet... I was lookin' at some for my TX's, but, if I need that many? I'll spend far less on Venom alkalines in 3-4 years than buying 8 rechargeable AA's...

Yep, and you can charge them just fine at 2.6 amps.
