|  Can this ESC handle 2 540RS or 55t Lathe Motors?
I currently own this esc http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXAXT9&P=ML and have been using it in my stampede with a 15 turn motor and 7 cells. It handles the power just fine and barely gets warm. Would it be able to handle 2 stock or 55t lathe motors

If I remember correctly .. 540 stock motor has 27 turns .. 2 of them in parallel .. ESC will see the motors as 13-14 turns. Then your IntelliSpeed 12T should be able to handle the load fine but might be a bit warm as this load is close to the minimum of 12T. For 2 of the 55t lathe motors, no problem at all. with that esc and stock motors it will work with no heat problems... i use two stockers with an ezxr esc it only has a 17t limit and it worked fine... youll have no problems... Chaos |
