| Why Monster Max and not Mamba Max?
Castle Creations keeps saying that you shouldnt use the Mamba Max on monster trucks (and slower vehicles like crawlers). Something about the current being too high? Or the Monster Max being too fast? Seems though that people are using the Mamba Max on their crawlers just fine? |

From what I understand the Mamba Max is made for lighter 10th scale trucks and buggies. The Monster Max I imagine will have a lower kv so it will handle bigger heavier monster trucks. And in a crawler I think we never work the Mamba Max because of the low RPM's we run. I could be wrong though. |

I think so since I hear a lot of estatic mentions about them on this forum. Last edited by DKNguyen; 05-15-2007 at 12:20 AM. | |

Castle is just trying to cover their ***. I can tell you that I heated up both of my controllers this weekend on a clod using 3 cell lipo and two 3.5oz outrunners. The monster max will be overkill IMO. I think Castle has fast vehicles in mind mostly. |
