Default can I use the HiTec 5955 robot servo with a traxxas TQ3?

I know that the 5995 servo needs endpoint adjustment, but will the 5955 work with the traxxas system?

The 5955 will need endpoints just like the 5995 does, because they are both digital. Without the endpoints or correct steering setup (no binding), the motor will just burn up while trying to turn further than is physically possible.

So, no it would not be a good idea. I would not recommend the traxxas system for any digital servo.

You can add EPA's to a TQ3, or you can buy the servo programmer

You could, but why?? There are servos that are just as strong and far less expensive than that one, that will work with the TQ3 with no problems.

How bout 3 , I can name more if you want, and yes I know they are 1/4 scales. There's no reason not to use them.

I have been running a 5955 with a tq3 and it works fine. The 5955 is only good for 90* of movement, not 180* like the 5995.
