| ESC BEC issue (current shortage)
Hi, I have an ESC that has 5V, 1A BEC, but it doesn't seem to be enough for my BlueBird 630MG servo because everytime I turn the wheels on a surface that's got even a little bit of grip the ESC shuts down for a short while. I corrected the problem with 1100mAh hump pack, but it only lasts for ~45minutes (my other main battery is 2S 3300mAh LiIon and 2S 1800mAh LiPo, so you can guess the problem). Anyway, would this http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...&cat=13&page=1 correct the current shortage problem? How do I connect it as it seems to have two "free" wire ends? |

That would solve your BEC problem, but I'm not sure how they're installed exactly. I would think it would include some sort of instruction sheet though. I keep meaning to get one of these myself...

That voltage regulator will only provide 3amps. Think about if that is enough or not. I would suggest this one: MPI ACC234 It will provide up to 16 amps with a 7.2 V input. Here's how to install it. VR install I'm just suggesting that you consider what kind of upgrades you might go to in the future that might require more amperage. |

You can't go wrong with the ACC234, and you can adjust the output voltage to whatever you want, as long as it is 1v lower than the input voltage. |
