Default Benefits of an RX pack

What are the benefits of hooking up a RX pack to a crawler and how is it done???

i dont run one but you buy a rx pack and plug it into you rx where it says batt or something equivelent. i think it keeps your radio functioning well even if you have a low pack. i think it also helps your servo get smooth power?

The biggest advantage to using a Rx pack on a crawler is that it will be able to deliver more current to your stearing servo than the battery eliminator circuit built into the ESC.

Most ESC's BEC's are rather limited in there current output.

^^^ Yep.

I burned up my BEC in my Rooster 5 comps ago.
Threw in a Rec. pack (Thanks JB) & it has worked flawlessly ever since.


If I would have had a Rec. pack to begin w/, I may not have blown the BEC in the first place.
