Cheap GP3300s ~$40. Though 3700s are avaliable now, but they'll cost ya.

Tower, local hobby shop, www.cheapbatterypacks.com etc.

I'd rather go with www.maxamps.com and a matched GP3700 pack for $40. I had some Powerizer AA's in my transmitter, they were pieces of crap that couldn't hold a charge for longer than 45 minutes. I kicked them to the curb and got some Energizer 2500's, still on the first charge with 9.8v after nearly a month and a half!

Epic markets a 3000mah 6 cell that goes for less than $20. I would guess it isn't the greatest cells, but the price is good. Assembled in red shrink tube available at Towers of Hobbypeople.net.

That MaxAmps.com has a 3700 unassmebled "Full Pro Set" for $40 that looks like a total winner!
