| Nomadio React battery
I know this is useless with out pics, but I figured I should let everyone know what I did. I have had intermittent problems with the radio cutting out since I first bought it. I thought I might send it back as it may be faulty. Then I noticed that the contacts on that crappy plug in there weren't making a very good connection. I took it apart and found that apparently some hamfist put it together at the factory. The whole connector was screwed up. So I got to thinking... what else do I know that looks like that connector. Ah ha! The cables on the inside of an old computer case., say the hd led cable. So I yanked one of those, soldered it on to my home-made pack 1500mAh 2/3A cells (800mAh = teh suck) and I plugged it all in. Now I have a battery that I can charge with my regular charger on deans and I have a great connection being made. Pics will follow tonight. I know I'm probably the only one in the world to have issues with this, but I figure someone else may need the info down the road if they actually searched nomadio and battery. |
