Unhappy I Think I blew it

I put my 55t lathe motor in the WK last night using the Trinity slide on motor wires. Problem was I put the motor wires on the same side of the motor and didn't catch it until I tried driving the truck this morning and hit the throttle and got nothing. Swapped wires and got the same, plugged in the OE motor and still got the same plus I checked the fuse in the ESC and it's not blown. I've got a Novak XRS that I can swap in it is blown. BTW, yes the motor will turn over under just battery power.

Spec wide here's what I've got;
Brand New Integy 55t Lathe motor
HS625MG servo
Dynamite 1000mAh Rx pack
Stock Jolt ESC
Stock Tx and Rx
Red Rock Tires on Axial black/gunmetal Beadlocks with Traxxas aluminum hexs JB Welded into them
I have been running 14/96 but was able to swap over to 12/96 gears with new motor.

No magic smoke (thank god, I hate that smell!) and the fuse didn't blow, but I'm at work and the Bandit (which has the XRS in it) is at home so I haven't had the chance to do the swap yet.

Will do, just might toss in the Rx from the Bandit too, so I can run on my 3PDF or 3PM-FS radios!

Come to think of it, I did have the truck a little wet past couple outings with it. Maybe it's about time to look at stretching the truck a little too.........................

Anybody think the Rooster Crawler will be worth while to pay the money for vs just reusing the XRS until that dies too?

Well I swapped out the XRS and the truck worked fine! Also noticed that if I stick my nose on it I could smell cooked wiring. Swapped the FM reciever over and did a couple other things while I was working on it. Didn't get to bed until 3am this moring because I kept tinkering with it............
