Arrow Brushless motors for servos !!!

I can't seem to find the magazine that had the AD in it . I think it was RC Driver. But FUTABA is releasing there servo line in brushless modes also.

I thought it was in RC car action but its not.

Anyone else have any INFO on this ???

YES it IS Rc car action. I got the issue in today and was reading about them. They are..Futaba digital brushless servos. 30% better response times, less susceptible to vibration and shock, reduced heat.

Specs are

BLS351
TQ- 194 @ 6v
Speed- 0.13 @ 6v
Dimensions 1.6x.8x1.5in

BLS451
TQ- 139 @ 6v
Speed 0.11 @ 6v
Dimensions 1.6x.8x1.4in

Bump up the torque levels 3-5 times what they claim to push and I'll be interested

HOLY CRAP! ... october! lol I have been a subscriber for a few years so things must be a little ahead of time.Should be in stores soon. Cover is yellow and orange, headline is GET SIDEWAYS.. article on the new losi mini slider.

The prices are a bit steep for what it is IMO. Servos wearing out would be a thing of the past though, as long as it didn't overheat.

For the same price you could put together a steering setup like Wheelchair. A BL outrunner, mamba 25, and power seat mechanism. How much stronger do you need?

Futaba builds crappy servos in my experience. They are behind in the servo industry.

How on earth did they stick 6 transistors into that servo case, let alone all the other stuff that is needed.
