| Quark 60amp (roadster)??
Has anyone used this in a crawler, I couldn't find anything here but Holmes Hobbies new "black'' motor say's he recommends this or a Mamba Max. After running my OG revolver with the MM I don;t like it as much as the quark 33 I have but it keeps shutting down when I need it to work the most! |

Since it's a Quark, I would expect it to have the same super smooth throttle response, but it's about 180 bucks! And you can't dial it in using a computer either and it's brushless only. I would go with the MM unless the throttle response is that bad. It does have a decent BEC though. But so does the MM.

I run a Quark 65A with a Hyperion 3025-08 on a Roc-Maxx and it is wonderful... Contact Troy at BPP and he will hook you up! http://www.b-p-p.com/index.php?PHPSE...38fa5d4030f057 Last edited by themerc64; 08-24-2007 at 02:38 PM. Reason: more info... |

Racerx... My quark/OG revolver randomly shuts off too. Its because its overheating... Take your motor apart and clean it out real good. Mine only started doing that after i blasted out the motor with some cleaner ****. I should have taken it apart to begin with.

I had no idea the MM was so shoddy with the throttle. Is it worse than the Mamba-25? This makes me re-think getting the MM. I'm also running the OG/33A setup. I haven't had any problems with it yet, but I will definitely be keeping an eye on it now. | |

| I think I will try to clean her out and see what happens, I know some like to run one of those small fans on the esc but I would consider that last resort... or go back to a brushed motor GASP! When yours (DieselFuel) was doing it was it after running for a while or right away? I have had it do it on the first 15 ft of a coarse on more than one occasion. |
