Default tower pro problem

well i just bought a tower pro from jp customs. i had it on my rig for maybe a week or 2 and only ran it a couple times just to test it out. on sat. i had just got in from crawling around my yard when i smelled the wonderful smell of electronics. i immediately turn everything off and disconnected the batt. my hand brushed across the servo and it was very hot. after leting it cool i turned the truck back on and the servo motor engages and disengages. I'm not really sure if this is a common problem or i just got the fluke. if it is a common problem is there anyway i can fix it?

thanks for the help

what size rig do you have. I have used these servos in all my trucks. I have owned around ten of them. One time I had a problem with one of the servos overheating but it seemed to just be a fluke, also it was pushing 40 series on a really heavy truck.

I have been running mine a mg945 for about a month and have put some hours on it. I have had no problems. I am running an AX10 with almost 2lbs on the axles and tires. My bro in law has the same on his with the same run time and no problems.
