| NEW FROM NOVAK 55t Brushed motor A CRAWLER’S PARADISE Irvine, CA – October 15, 2007 – Novak is taking the pain out of mixing and matching parts by combining two great products in one, ready-to-drive combo package. Novak is now offering a 55-turn brushed motor – the Fifty-Five Crawler (#3555) – to harmonize with Novak’s popular brushed ESC – the Rooster Crawler Edition (#1841). The Fifty-Five Brushed Crawler is ideal for crawling because of its precise movement control, and its high-turn count makes for exceptional torque and long-run times. The motor is also completely rebuildable with an easily accessible commutator and replaceable brushes, making maintenance a snap. In addition, Novak is pre-installing three motor capacitors to simplify the installation process, so users can be crawling in no time. The Fifty-Five Crawler Brushed Motor (#3555) is available individually or in a Rooster Crawler Edition ESC/55 Motor Combo (#1842). Each is scheduled for shipping in mid-November 2007. | NEW FROM NOVAK 55T Brushed
Novak released their 55 turn brushed motor this weekend at iHobby. All motors will come with capacitors pre-installed and all motors will be test ran at the factory. Pricing is to be determined...this is the only motor in the states. These motors will also be sold as a package with the Crawler Edition Rooster ESC. Just doing some research on brushed combos, and Novak is my choice.. I can't decide if I wanna do a goat with a brushless motor, or just do the rooster crawler esc with the Novak 45 or 55... hmmmmm

Wow, old thread. Novak doesn't have a 45 turn motor. Might I suggest the Tekin FXR and a 45T motor combo pack? I installed a Tekin FXR/45T set-up in my buddy's crawler. Extremely nice system. Nicer then the Novak.

Are you sure they don't? http://www.shopatron.com/product/par....47638.0.0.0.0 Sure looks like it by following that link. I've had great luck with Novak in the past, during my stadium truck racing days, so I really see no reason to go with anything else. I will check out some reviews on the Tekin combo though. Thanks bro. Scott |

All be darned! You are correct. http://www.teamnovak.com/products/es...mbo/index.html 45T motors after all. I would still check out the Tekin FXR. Higher input voltages allowed, nicer drag brake, and such a small package. The ESC is tiny!

As much as I love my FXR "S P fan" pimping it in a product thread started by Novak is kinda un-cool. Not bagging on you or anything but if you have a personal recommendation like this I would do it through PM's ... Just my opinion though. |
