| How many volts do you run?
I'm curious to know how much people have been pushing their servos with the Castle BEC. I have a 2.2 with a Hitec 5955 set at 6v and it is working well (no extreme heat and haven't run it much). I am sure I can bump it up a little but but don't know how much is too much. I also have a CC BEC that I am going to install in a 2.2 with a JR 8711. Anybody have experience with running more than 6v to the 8711? |

I just installed my CC BEC in my rig with the JR servo and wow! I have it set at 6.4v thinking that should be ok and it has significantly more power than my UBEC. Very nice. | |

I have ran my hitec Ti servos on 7.4 with no issues, but the rock around here is relatively low grip compared to other areas. On 6v at OK my 5998s were giving up the ghost by the end of my runs. They are played out though.

I run my 5955's at 7.2, I ran a 5745 at 7.2 the other comp, 2 courses, it went poof! Go figure, a bigger servo can't handle it. Last edited by 666; 10-23-2007 at 10:12 PM. |

Two 5955's at 6.2volts. It works ok, I noticed it being a bit more glitchy then at 6 volts but seems to work ok. My servos are old though.
