I have been using the same duratrax intellipeak mini pulse charger for eight years. It has been a great little charger and is still going strong. Unfortunately I have also been using the same batteries . It was a bit more back then but you can get it for about 65 bucks now. I have recently decided to get a fresh charger and batts. So I went with the piranha charger and a couple Elite 1500 packs. I have heard numerous positive reviews on them. |

I use the superbrain 977. It is a great all around charger. Charging two batteries at once is great. I have never had any problems charging lipos with it either.

I love the hyperion chargers. They are a very easy 4 button design, and have up to date software that charges all popular battery types.

I own several chargers, a Duratrax Piranha Digital Peak, a Duratrax ICE, a Hitec CG-335, and a KO Propo. If cost is an issue and you only want to charge NiCD and HiMH, and not have a discharge feature, the Duratrax Piranha is great. It's also has AC and DC inputs. I really like my ICE charger, and it does everything except Lipo balancing. I am getting into Lipo more and more, I want to buy a Hyperion like JRH mentioned for that purpose. A buddy I crawl with has a Hyperion and they are nice. Plus, if you get into Lipo, they will balance while it charges. The ICE does not do that or offer that. I have owned Dynamite prophet series chargers and I thought they were junk. They false peaked constantly. I also owned a MRC 960 charger and did not like the user interface. Just my $.02. |

I sell a few versions. The 5i is a 12v dc only charger. The 0606i is an AC/dc version with a built in balancer. The 12i is a dc only charger, and the 0610i is a dc only charger/ balancer. They all charge lipo, nimh, nicad, lead acid, and a123. The easiest to use is the 5i and 0606i.

I got a Novak Ionic-d ac/dc up to 8 cells ni-cad nmh. charge rates from 1 to 4 amps. Pretty simple really, but also safe. I also got a multiplex for my li-po's and what a nice little machine that is. I got a plug from my local electronis store to run the multiplex off of the power supply inside of the novak. The difference between the ionic and ionic-d is the ionic d comes with a "black box power supply" The very first charger I ever got and its still proving to be very handy.
