Red face having issues

hey people i just built my ax-10 and iam tuning a tazer15T esc and a peak racing dragon 17T motor. and my esc just gets so hot my local hobby shop said to change my gear ratio iam using the stock set up with the 14T pinon geat and the stock 87T spur gear. what spur gear should i get i want more torque so i want a smaller spur gear. which size? or should i just spemd the money on the tc fifty five package deal?

35turn, 45turn, 55turn, all would help. Don't need to change the gearing, you just have the wrong motor for a crawler.

I bet you get some insane torque twist with that motor/esc combo!!

When I first got my Wheely King, I decided that I wanted to haul a$$, so I got a tekin2 and a 12turn speed gems motor. Needless to say, everytime I would hit the gas, I would go up on 3 wheels. Of course, taking out the link brace might have had something to do with it.

hey thanks guys alot of help so if i went integy 55T motor with my esc i have now ill be fine? what # of turns would go best with my setup?

I've got that esc and the Integy 55t and it works great for me. I'm not crazy about the reverse delay but it works for crawling and bashing.

could it be set up to go fast? like a sand drags or just bashing around with the right setup
