Default Axle shaft and drive shaft

I just finished my GK build and snapped my universal within minutes of first rolling. Wheels were not locked up, End points were set and no apparent binding.

My Google foo is failing me right now. Drive shafts I’ve got covered but really looking for front axle shafts. I’ve read the the 10.2 from axial work. What are out current offerings or substitutions?

the listing dose say scx10ii or Enduro so they might be the same
there are also lots of element labeled units for the $40+ range maybe there stronger I don't know but they sure cost more

Yea because I trust eBay. I’ve only read from a few places that they should work. I’ll be looking into some cvd’s maybe.

That's an odd part to break -did you reach out to Element? Might have been a bad part.

I agree that it is an odd part. I didn’t contact them, I’ve had it sitting in my cabinet for the longest time up until a few months ago or so. I’m an fanboy of AE and would still believe that they back their products.

So the 10.2 axles do work but when I snugged down the lock nut in the wheels with the new axles I ended up binding the hexes to the hubs. I swapped out some screw pins for wheel hexes and that seemed to alleviate the binding. Now that makes me wonder if that’s what happened the first time but it seemed to roll pretty easily before. Now I need to take it for a test run.
