Default My Berg Tuber

Sorry no build up. We put it together friday night in Montana. StIcK kInG stayed up all night wiring it thanks buddy .
It needs stretched out, It's stubby! I'm going to make longer delrin front links and try out some different springs.

Specs:

Coles rock racer style tuber
Berg axles
CAC Tuckers
Losi Claws
F & R Dig
Delrin links....under construction!

Here's some action pics:

Looks great . The more rigs I see with these axles, makes me want to get a set. The hard part will be convincing the wife!

Looks like it has the possibility to be a very capable crawler Cole. I think your right about the length it wants to be longer.

Awesome looking chassis. I was thinking of designing a 1.9 tuber with a similar design. If I decide to do it, I'll be taking some cues from yours.

Some video of Coles running his berg at BG. 4 place out of 50+ 2.2's.

I think he made a new chassis.

Good job.

Thanks Tom, love the video

...and yeah it's a new chassis. This one works alot better! It's lighter & was more thought out. Here's a few pics from battlegrounds.

Close-ups:

What goes up....

must come down Oops

Stole a stub shaft from Rockbound to finish, but didn't get much further after that. I have some axial shafts in it now.

Here's some link flex for ya. This was on the indoor course at my shop

On course 3 the link bound up and shot me right into perfect position to clear gate 3, one that most hit. Gotta luv it!!!!!!!!!

Chassis turned out sweet Matt!

Looks like it is performing well

can't really tell from the pics but are the sides boat sided or just straight up and down? Looks like they are straight up and down from the picture of the truck on it's lid?

After seeing this in Ohio I can say it is. Seeing builds in person adds a helluva lot to it.
