| Berg Newage Shock Fix
The stock shocks on my Berg leaked just standing still. I took them apart and discovered that there were no O-rings in the seals just a plastic wiper. I had an Associated #6440 shock rebuild kit for an RC10 in my tool box. I added 2 orings and a teflon spacer, Fixed, no more leaks. You may be able to just add some of the o-rings from the kit but I had the #6440 in my box and it had the right size teflon spacer. |

Is this correct? I used the stock rings? I just want to double check as I have never built shocks before. Thanks |

That is correct I added a teflon spacer to put some tension on the rings to make sure they sealed. You can run it like you have it and if it does not leak I would leave it like that but if you still get a little leakage try adding a shim to add a little presure.
