| The Bergler
After driving sprint80's OCM last month & driving better with his rig than I do with my own, I knew I had to get one of these. It came in last week, just in time for HRCC's Summer Series comp#1. My original plan was to use my Hustler chassis that has been sitting since getting PC'ed. Well didn't have the time to go get it from the Rydefab shop. So, I tore apart my VF Slingshot w/axials. The berg axles were nearly a direct fit. The only thing I needed to do was to replace the front lower rod ends fron Revo's to Jato's That clocked the front axle back down to give me the proper castor. The rear axle ended up being perfectly clocked to get the motor up & out of the way. It sits at a perfect 12.5wb & a RCH over 3"gc all the way from behind the front tires to in front of the rears. Axles- enRoute Berg 2.2 Chassis- VF_Slingshot_w/HC_links Shocks- Losi .6 buggy shocks 1x Cups&ends 4x Ti-niride_shafts 2x Threaded_body 4x Cartridge 1x Shock_pistons 1x 80wt_oil Springs- Front_red/Rear_black Battery- 3c Lipo Motors- 55t lathes for now ESC- Tekin_FXR V. regulator- CC_BEC Steering servo- Hitech_5995tg Dig servo- Hitech_5245mg Radio- Spektrum_DX3R Rims- VF_Stalkers comming soon Tires- Panther Cougars Body- Losi_Grappler Misc. Revo_rod_ends Jato_rod_ends Here's some comp action shots bringing home the gold. Last edited by DISTURBIN' tha PEACE; 06-10-2008 at 12:33 AM. |

Nice! What did you think of the width with the Berg wheels? Did it give you any troubles with getting thru gates?

Not bad Sheldon, not bad at all! The wheels are ugly, but the colors were perfect. |

Nice rig in such a short build time!!! But, I wouldn't expect anything less from you. Great job at Sunday's comp. You drove that rig like you were driving that rig all season. I guess the Bergler stole the Gold! |

So your running two 55t's off of one FX-R? Can handle? If I don't need to, I would just want to run one FX-R. I am thinking of getting this rig, looks very good. Any off body pics? Mahalos.

Sheldon, you need to get your avatar made into a decal and run it on the hood, it's hilarious! |
