Here are few really crappy pictures from awhile back just to show the track width with these wheels. I had the wheels machined a long time ago when I was trying to find the best wheel for my WK. These were too offset and would not work on a WK without grinding the kingpin head off. The pictures are comparing the truck to my 08' Axial based comp rig. The wheels are Eritex and the offset is the same as stock Axial Beadlocks. |

I have been super busy with so many projects that I never got around to updating this thread. I ran it in competition last weekend for the first time (actually the first time I got any run time on it with the DX3R and micro switch dig). I made a couple dumb mistakes and it cost me a win. I left the starting line and my stock rear lockout just fell off, I had not checked the screw holding it on So that cost me 10 easy points. Then I didn't tuck my battery cable up and it got caught on a rock and unplugged. I would have had an easy win other wise Here are some pics from the event (big thanks to Nishru): Specs: TCS Chassis Prototype - OCM Axles AX-10 high clearance lower links with stock lowers as upper links 55t Integy Lathe Motors - Waiting on some Handwounds from JRH Sidewinder ESC DX3R - May be getting replaced soon with something special Micro Switch Dig - Setup for front and rear dig Max Amps 3 cell Lipo - deciding on which to run (1550 or 2100) FUBAR Crawlers rear steer Lockouts - Hobbico CS170 Ti Gear servo - AMAZING FOR 20% less than a 5955 with the same power BTA Steering - Semi temporary setup |

Some pics of the quick mounts I CNC'd for the BTA (a borrowed idea): This is not an optimal setup, just needed to get something on here ASAP. The other steering was just no where close to acceptable for me. I will have the steel drag link cut in the next couple days. Last edited by Harley; 07-20-2008 at 04:15 PM. |
