| Couple of Berg questions?
I've looked throught these threads and don't seem to see info on the following: Are the axles Diff'd or do they come pre-locked? If diff'd what seems to be the prefered locking method? If I run 2 45t motors off 1 Tekin FX-R am I going to be hurting only using 2S lipo's? Are the stock shocks anygood? They atleast look Aluminum! Do they work ok in full droop? Thanks for the replies, me, the checkout button, and my MC eagerly await responses. |

The axles are locked. I personally would run a setup that would allow 3cell lipo. And with 45T motors the wheel speed is faster than the average crawler and torque is still great. The stock shocks are OK but very long(like 5inches) and you have to do a ton of limiting. As far as droop goes that would all depend on the chassis you run. |

I am running 2 55 turns with a Sidewinder so I can run a 11.1 lipo with it. I don't know if the Tekin is rated for 11.1. The stock shocks are OK save them for another project. The Bergs work great full droop. I think that the stock shocks are too long for a droop setup though. Here is mine setup with a BlackJack chassis from RCP | |
