Default novak rooster for berg - need help - newbie

Hey guys - i just ordered the berg 2.2 from amain. I use a helios radio with spektrum module for my race cars and intend on using for the berg as well - here are my questions, they might be stupid but i need help understanding - 1 - I spoke to novak today and they said that their rooster crawler esc with 55t motor combo will run two motors so i ordered two 55t motors. After purchasing I realized that the rooster is only good for 2 cell lipo it will not work with three. what is going to be the outcome of this ? I have called max amps and plan on building split lipos for the axles but is this good enough in 2 cell config. 2- i would like to add rear steering but need to know what to do and do i need a different radio for that to happen (i dont think so but info would help. I will be using a jr9000 servo with 320 oz torque for front should i use same for rear - thanks guys

2 cell lipo will just be a little less power (7.4 volts for 2 cell, 11.1 volts for 3 cell).

How many channels does the Helios have? You would probably need 3 channels to have independent rear steer (I think there is a company that makes something that will let you have rear steer with a 2 channel radio).

You don't have to have the same servo in the rear. You can probably get away with a little weaker one, since people generally have less weight in the rear of a crawler.

if you plan on competing rear steer is illegal in the 2.2 class.

2 cell lipo will be plenty of power to run your set up. as stated.

I don't think the helios can do rear steer. It is 3 channel but the third channel just makes the servo travel the same way with the et5 switched either way. been trying to figure it out for my dig. If it is possible I didn't find it yet. Heck I didn't even figure out how to set the epa's on the 3rd channel. If anyone can figure it out or figured it out please post or pm me cause I cant.
