Default ***---Stars and Bars---***

I thought I would share my Berg Build.
I call it Stars and Bars.

Kit-Berg
ESC-Sidewinder
Radio- JrX3s
Servo- Jr DS8711
Chassis/Skid- Zero
Shocks- Kit/full droop 70w/30w mixed oil and ACE hardware inner springs.
Front axle battery plate- Custom by me
Motors- 45t intergy
Battery- Hyperion 4s
Bottom links- Stock/bent
Top links- Front kit bumpers/rear revo push rods
Tires- Losi Claws
Wheels- Axial 7oz lead each front 3oz each rear and Berg kit wheels (same weight with M2 Moabs)
Dig- Rizzo/rear lock and 4WD
Body- Losi Grapler painted by me

I went for a Low CG and high ground clearance

The weight is low and forward with stiff shocks and limited articulation.
This thing climbs like a homesick angle. I am very pleased with how it works.

Just a couple of degrees with longer upper links, it raises the motor just a little without messing up the front caster to much.

After running it for some time. I am very satisfied with the battery plate setup and location. I may go with a smaller Maxamp 3s (or even the 4s) and mount it a little more laterally. I really like the 4s for the insane wheel speed but a little smaller battery may work just as well. The low forward weight distribution it is a great improvement over running the battery in the chassis
