| Sinastir Crawlers Prototype Berg....
First off i wanna thank my sponsors: TeamSinastir.com Panther Tires Now for the build: first up is my tires and wheels: Panther Cougars with NWT Hybrid foams and proline beadlocks (soon to be custom eritex) i am running the hybrids up front with stock axial foam in the rears due to how soft these tires are. The tires were super easy to mount up compared to some others i have done and the compound is super sticky... Axles: Berg Electronics: 55t's Mamba Max Dx3R radio micro switch dig front and rear hs-50 dig servo Castle bec HSC 5998tg servo for steering Venom 3s lipo Chassis: Sinastir prototype here it is mocked up... i have to make a skid plate and side plates tomorrow before i can do some paint work.. |

hey Was the big Tuber Buggy that ran in the club, when I lived there, up powder coated. (Driver was Bob???, TXT based wit Emaxx tranny), if it was and he is still arround, maybe he can hook you up. I wanted to build another tuber for my berg, but I just do not have the time. I am also not inspired right now, I sat in my shop for couple hours last night and got nothing built. But to keep this post technical, are those memory foams as wide as the picture makes them look? It looks like they are stock clod tire width? |

yeah bobs was painted.. aipohaku has it now, its in the txt section. the foams are wide, but they are awesome in the cougars. they have a few different sizes to choose from when you order aswell. get yourself a berg man you will love it. especially since you are already using the dual tranny. |

Hey I have run a berg in the Super Class the last two comps here. I do not have the wheels to narrow it yet. They should arrive any day. I agree it is awsome and totally great for my driving style. I hope have a 2.2 Berg built by next Saturday and plan to go do some testing. Worst case, I will just have to run it wide. And I still have to build one of those micro swith deals. |

if i can get my eritex wheels before battlegrounds you can use my prolines. they keep mine narrow enough but they tend to strip hexes when i hammer on it. |

looking good, just a little worried about the strength of the front part of the chassis, looks like id doesn't have much bracing. the point were the shock hoops meet the down pillars and flat plate looks like a weak point.

that looks perfect for powder puff, but it looks like a half inch to short to be a legal tuber lol

I wouldnt be so sure. You said the same thing about my tuber, and it is still arrow straight even with the beating I have laid to it. Albeit if anyone could tweak it, it will be Keith or myself. Quote:
Looking good Keith. I am jealous I can't start on my just yet... | ||

sorry guys but i broke up with the crazy asian model chick awhile ago... the new g/f is less model more punk rock and tattoos... TECH: hey has anyone mounted the servo on the short side of the axles yet? i was thinking that would give me enough room to put the lipo on the front axle and more room to work with on the chassis skid? |
