Stock Berg wheels

Dunno if this has been posted I searched but thats a lot of reading so if this has been covered before by all means delete, but I found a use for the stock aluminum wheels that come with the Berg kit without using the ugly gold rings.
Axial rock rings are a direct fit and only need the small "snatch" ground down a little on the front of the rim at the end of the 3 spokes of the wheel that catch the ring to flushmount the rings. The back of the wheel is already smooth so the axial stock rings fit perfect even using the Berg hardware. If you use a thicker delrin type ring the Axial hardware will work but may need slight trimming at the end they are a bit long.
Overall though they make a great scale wheel with readily available axial rings in any color or shape
