| Cob's Take II
Well to start I would like to thank the many folks who took the time to help troubleshoot my electronic issues, props to Nuluv, Robb, and John Holmes. Next to all the great builds I used for ideas, this is a super site. Third, the great manufacturers that support and push forward our hobby. Lastly the awsome vendors that have taken all my money the last month..... Changed from mostly a stock set up as I found what would work for my style. This is just the roller as I'm changing from a Kamikaze style dig to a vertical style rear mount and just had to show off this pimp chassis. Berg kit Eritex side plates Custom skid and rails Mayhem Spiders V11 45T's Mamba Max CC Bec 5955 steering / 225 dig Max Amps 3s 2100 Lipo DX3R Still afraid to chop the body until I'm sure of what I need... |

Clean work, and great chasis. What's it made of? Just wondering how well it'll hold up to the punishment these axles can dish out. Any chance you've got a pic of the bottom of that skidplate? |

Hey guys, I have a new issue with my set up and was hoping someone might have an idea on what the problem is. It was running great (10-15 packs) and now my dig servo is acting screwy. The servo is glitching and the arm rocks back and forth when the motors are running. At half speed it doesn't move enough to trip the dig but at FT it will randomly kill a motor. I tried clipping all the ties and seperated all the wires. I cant seem to figure it out. Could the servo be bad? It is a MG225 if that matters at all. Thanks again in advance, Cob (Brian) |

You did not happen to change the frame rate on the DX3 by chance?

Disconnect the dig servo from the receiver. If the glitching problem goes away and your able to throttle, you found the culprit. I used to see this on another rig of mine. When under load the analog dig servo would glitch like no tomorrow. I also have an MG225 as well and all is working fine. Last edited by SMR4RUNNER; 08-26-2008 at 07:49 PM. |
