| Rear steer in 2.2 an advantage?
What are your opinions on rear steer with the berg? In our Australian trail class (like your 2.2) we are alowed to run rear steer and most of the axials run it on there rigs, do you guys think it would help much on bergs? or would the extra rear weight of the servo be trouble and digs are effective enough that you don't need rear steer? I was thinking of running mine like yours with the rear locked out, however i'd be running against axials with rear steer and digs!! |

If it is allowed in your locale then run rear steer. I think running rear steer would outweigh the tad bit of weight a servo will have on the rear axle. It'll be a mini super in these parts. |

No worries, I'll run it. That leaves me with Berg/stick, twin independant FX-R's running integy V11 lathes, Full front/rear dig + reverse burn turning, front/rear independant steer for crab and countersteer, all on panther cougers and controlled with the Dx7 that I use for my helis Come and get me Axials |

Well I'm building it for our nats in late September to run against the AX10's I've got the berg kit here already, i'm machining parts for the chassis at the moment while I wait for the package with all the good bits (electrics etc) to come all the way from your fine country I'll make sure I post a vid and a short build thread up here before the comp, I don't want to give too much away yet as many of my Australian rivals scroll these pages too ;) |

Cool, I'm not a 4ws fan, but if it's legal and the competition is using it. Go for it! Good luck at the Australian Nat's! |

| I'm with you on the 4ws, I think there's enough gear on the 2.2's as it is without adding the extra servo and tie rods etc, I like how neat your 2.2 rigs are and they still climb well with the rear locked out, besides I have to clock BOTH axles to run 4ws and i'll have more hang up points on the tail. But i'm doing it anyway for the nat's and if circumstances change next year i can get rid of the 4ws and put lockouts back in.
